The tree is characterized by high vigor, an open crown type, and dense foliage. Leaves have an elliptical-lanceolate shape. The variety is considered early-ripening and has a high yield but shows a tendency toward alternate bearing.
Fruits have an average weight and an ovoid shape, turning black upon ripening. The oil obtained from them is characterized by stability and a balanced taste with notes of fresh grass, slight bitterness, pungency, and an almond aftertaste.
The variety possesses high drought tolerance and is adapted for growth on calcareous and poor soils. It has high resistance to olive leaf spot but is moderately sensitive to olive knot. Due to the strong attachment of fruits to branches, it often requires manual harvesting.
