The variety is a traditional local plant, the genetic material of which is conserved in specialized germplasm banks of Catalonia. At present, the variety is rare, and the number of surviving specimens is small.

The fruits of this variety are classified as small, with an average weight of about 1.4 g per fruit. The variety is considered primarily as an object for scientific research and cultural heritage conservation, rather than a crop for intensive industrial production.
