MANZANILLA DE DOS HERMANAS

Active

Olea europaea L. Olive · Fruit crops

also searched as: манзанилла де дос херманас

Variety description

10 August 2026

The plant has an open crown type and vigorous growth. The fruits are medium to large in size, characterized by a high pulp-to-pit ratio, with the pit being easily separable. Ripening begins by November, but for table purposes, harvesting is often carried out in September while the fruits are green.

The variety is demanding in terms of care and is susceptible to olive fruit fly infestation and fungal diseases. Frost resistance is rated as medium. The fruits are used as table olives, as well as for the production of high-quality olive oil with fruity and green notes.
