Variety description

10 August 2026

The tree of this variety has low vigor, an open crown type with a tendency toward a weeping form, and medium foliage density. Leaves are medium, elliptical-lanceolate. The variety is well-adapted to intensive plantings and various soil types, but is sensitive to winter cold.

Fruits are medium-sized, weighing about 4.6 g, and possess a characteristic round shape resembling an apple. The color changes from light green to black during the ripening process. Fruits have high pulp quality, and the pit separates easily, which makes the variety a benchmark for table use and canning.

The variety is characterized by early flowering and ripening. It has susceptibility to Verticillium wilt but demonstrates resistance to the olive fruit fly and olive knot. The fruit retention force on the branches is low, which facilitates mechanical harvesting, although manual harvesting is often practiced to preserve the commercial appearance.
