Voliotiki trees reach 6–10 meters in height, although in cultivation their growth is often limited by pruning to 4–5 meters. The fruits are spherical or oval in shape, their average weight is about 6.5 g, and the pit is characterized by the presence of deep grooves.
The variety has dual-purpose use, allowing for the production of green, light-colored, and black ripe olives, as well as oil. Being self-fertile, the variety bears fruit better in the presence of pollinators, such as Chondrolia Chalkidikis or Kalamon. The plant possesses resistance to cold, but is susceptible to olive fruit fly infestation.
