Variety description

The variety is the result of centuries of folk selection and adaptation to the specific conditions of the island of Zakynthos. The fruits are of medium to large size, have an elongated, slightly asymmetrical shape, and change color from green to dark purple or almost black during the ripening process.

Plants are characterized by resilience and demonstrate moderate to high yields. The olive oil obtained from the fruits has a fruity aroma and a balanced taste with a slight bitterness.
