The variety belongs to the root type of parsley and reaches technological maturity within periods typical for this group, ranging from 150–200 days. In a number of classifications, the variety is mentioned as a synonym of the German variety Lange.

The root vegetables have an elongated shape and require a high-quality, deep soil layer for normal development. The variety was historically recorded in the national registers of Balkan countries as standard material for cultivation aimed at obtaining root vegetables used in cooking.
