The shrub is characterized by a compact, dense, rounded crown shape. Its height is usually 1–1.5 m, the plant is distinguished by slow growth. A feature of the variety is the leaf color: in spring they are bright golden-yellow, in summer they become yellowish-green with a pale yellow border and spots.
Flowering occurs in June with white or creamy-white flowers collected in corymbose inflorescences. The fruits are inflated follicles that change color from light green to reddish. The decorativeness of the foliage depends on lighting: in the sun the color remains bright, while in the shade the leaves turn green.
The plant is frost-resistant (USDA zone 3, down to -40°C), however, in harsh winters, young specimens may freeze. The variety is resistant to wind and urban environments, tolerates pruning and trimming well. Virtually not damaged by diseases and pests.

A single variety may be registered in different countries under different names. All records are consolidated into one profile based on the breeder's code—an internal number that is identical for the variety across all registries.
The primary name shown is the one under which the variety is registered in the largest number of jurisdictions. Search finds the variety by any of its names.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
