The variety is intended for turf establishment and was characterized in a number of 1990s studies as drought-tolerant, as evidenced by indicators of no wilting under trial conditions. In publications, it appears under the breeding number BAR VB 7037.

In comparative trials of the mid-1990s, the variety showed acceptable results, with its characteristics varying depending on the intensity of the maintenance regime. Detailed data on plant height, maturity group, or specific disease resistance are absent.
