This clone is a Populus x canadensis hybrid, obtained by crossing black poplar and eastern cottonwood. The clone possesses high productivity and wood with a low basic density index, making it suitable for use in the plywood industry.

The plant possesses genetic resistance to poplar aphids, however, it exhibits moderate susceptibility to rust. The survival rates and growth intensity of the clone depend significantly on edaphic factors, soil type, and moisture conditions at the planting site.
