The variety is an interspecific hybrid of almond and peach, obtained by crossing the Garfi and Nemared varieties. It is used as a commercial rootstock for stone fruit crops, promoting early bearing of grafted plants and accelerated ripening of the harvest.
The plant has low vigor, which makes it suitable for creating compact plantings. Characteristic morphological traits include a reddish hue of the foliage and genetic resistance to root-knot nematodes.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
