The variety was obtained by crossing Harcot and Reale di Imola. The tree is vigorous with a spreading crown, possesses a high chilling requirement and resistance to fungal diseases. To obtain high-quality fruit, thinning of the fruit set and specialized pruning are recommended.
Fruits are oval-shaped with a weight of 40 to 90 g. The skin is intensely yellow with a red blush covering 20–40% of the surface. The flesh is firm, yellow in color, and characterized by excellent taste and aroma. The variety is intended for both the fresh market and industrial processing.
