The variety Pinkcot (synonym Copty) is a vigorous tree with a spreading crown and an early-bearing growth habit, entering production in the 2nd–4th year. Ripening time falls in the period from mid-June to early July. The tree is characterized by high winter hardiness, including resistance of flowers to spring frosts, and requires preventive measures against Monilinia.

The fruits are round in shape, with an orange ground color and a red blush covering 50–70% of the surface. The flesh is orange, firm, and juicy, possessing a balanced sweet-and-sour taste. The variety is partially self-fertile; to increase yields, proximity to pollinator varieties such as Tomcot, Big Red, Spring Blush, or Red Silver is recommended.
