The variety is the result of open pollination of the variety Merton Late, which was obtained by crossing the varieties Bella Agatha and Napoleon. The fruit has a medium size, pale yellow skin with a pink blush, and yellow flesh.

The variety belongs to the early or mid-early maturity groups; the harvest is collected in early or mid-July. It belongs to pollination group D with S-genotype S1S6. It exhibits partial resistance to bacterial canker, although susceptibility is possible when affected by virulent strains.
