The fruits of the variety ripen in mid-to-late July. They are characterized by a large size, dark red to near-black skin color, and firm, juicy red flesh. In terms of taste characteristics, the variety is classified as a dessert type.

The tree has vigorous growth and reaches a height of about 4 meters. The variety is not self-fertile and requires pollinators such as Merton Glory, Morello, Celeste, Lapins or Stella.
