The tree is characterized by vigorous or moderately vigorous growth; for intensive orchards, the use of dwarfing rootstocks or interstocks is recommended. The variety is self-incompatible; for a stable yield, pollinator varieties such as Van, Burlat, Vega, or Vista are required.

Fruits are medium-sized, round in shape, with dark purple-red skin. The flesh is juicy, sweet, and aromatic. The variety is characterized by resistance to frost and typical diseases; harvest time falls in June and early July.
