David W.Cain
10 August 2026
The variety is self-incompatible and belongs to pollination group B with S-genotype S1S6. To obtain a yield, it requires the presence of pollinator varieties such as Early Rivers, Merton Favourite, Frogmore Early, or Merton Bounty.
The fruits have dark red flesh and a sweet taste with a slight acidity, exceeding in size the fruits of the Early Rivers variety. The crop ripens at the end of June or the beginning of July.
