The tree is characterized by vigorous growth and forms a wide-spreading crown. The variety belongs to early or mid-early maturity groups. The plant is self-incompatible and requires cross-pollination with suitable varieties for fruit setting.

The fruits are large, heart-shaped or round. Upon ripening, the skin acquires a dark red, almost black hue. The flesh is firm, juicy, sweet, and aromatic. The variety is resistant to fruit cracking during rain.

The plant exhibits good resistance to Monilinia. It requires fertile, well-drained soils and is sensitive to excess lime. It is intended for fresh consumption and various types of processing.
