The variety is intended for fresh consumption; the fruits have a spherical shape, firm flesh, and a short peduncle. The skin has moderate resistance to handling, and the fruits possess high resistance to cracking during rain.

Fruit ripening occurs in the second to third ten-day period of June. The variety is characterized by high susceptibility to the cherry fruit fly, which led to a gradual decline in its cultivation after the 1960s.
