The tree is characterized by high vigor, a spreading crown, and good productivity, entering fruiting on average in the 6th year. The variety is self-incompatible and requires the presence of pollinators, such as Bigarreau Burlat, Bigarreau Moreau, or varieties of the Durona di Vignola group.
Fruits are medium-sized, spheroidal in shape with thin, shiny skin. The flesh is soft, very juicy, and dark red. The ripening period falls at the end of May – beginning of June. Taste qualities are characterized by sweetness with a light acidity and a distinct aroma.
The variety is sensitive to transportation and storage due to the soft consistency of the flesh. It is used primarily for fresh consumption, as well as for processing into jams and compotes.
