10 August 2026
The sweet cherry variety Rivers Frühe enters into fruit-bearing 2–4 years after planting. The fruits have an intense sweet taste and a dark red, almost black color. The stone separates easily from the firm flesh.
Trees of the variety can be grown both on vigorous seed rootstocks and in the form of dwarf trees, which influences the final height of the plant. The variety is characterized by stable yield and good resistance.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
