The variety was obtained by crossing Hedelfinger and Ramon Oliva. The tree has a pyramidal or spherical crown and enters fruiting in the 5th–6th year. It is highly compatible when grafted onto sweet cherry and sour cherry, and adapted to a cool climate.

Fruits are medium-sized, weighing 5.2–7 g, with an ovoid shape and dark red shiny skin. The flesh is semi-firm, pinkish-red, moderately juicy, with a sweet-and-sour taste, containing about 8.8% sugar. The variety is self-incompatible and requires pollinators.

The plant possesses resistance to Monilinia and anthracnose; fruits are resistant to cracking during rainy weather. The variety is intended for fresh consumption.
