The tree is medium-sized, about 3.5 m in height, with a vigorous, spreading crown of rounded shape. Flowering is early, which creates a risk of flower damage from spring frosts. Winter hardiness is sufficient; the variety withstands temperature drops down to -26 °C.
Fruits are large, with a mass of 8–11 g and a diameter of up to 28–29 mm, kidney-shaped or spherical with dark red skin. The flesh is firm, juicy, red-colored, with a dessert-like sweet and sour taste. The variety is susceptible to fruit cracking during heavy precipitation in the ripening period.
The variety is self-incompatible and belongs to group XVIII. To obtain a yield, pollinators that bloom at the same time are required, such as Lapins, Sweetheart, Celeste, Samba, or Garnet. The ripening period is very early, 2–3 days before the Burlat variety; harvesting can last up to 10 days.
