The tree reaches a height of 6–8 meters and possesses a broadly ovate semi-open crown with a characteristic picturesque growth habit. The fruits are large, shiny, and dark red in color with a small tip on the lower part.

The fruit flesh is juicy, aromatic, and firm. The variety ripens from mid-July, is not self-fertile, and requires pollinators. Winter hardiness corresponds to hardiness zone 6, and resistance to fruit cracking from moisture is rated as moderate.
