The tree is of medium vigor, reaching 3.5–4 meters in height depending on the rootstock and conditions. The crown has a broadly oval or spreading shape. The variety is self-incompatible and requires the presence of pollinators, such as the varieties Bing, Stella, Kordia, or Burlat.
The fruits are heart-shaped or broadly heart-shaped, with a weight ranging from 6.5 to 8 grams. Upon full maturity, the skin turns dark red or almost black; the flesh is firm and juicy. The variety is suitable for fresh consumption and processing.
The ripening period usually occurs in mid-July. The plant is characterized by winter hardiness and good resistance to bacterial canker, although in rainy weather the fruits are prone to cracking.
