The tree is tall, reaching 5–6 meters. The crown of young trees is broad-pyramidal, becoming spreading with age. Fruiting begins in the 5–6th year after planting.

Fruits are large, weighing 7–9 g, round-heart shaped. Color is dark red, becoming almost black and shiny at full maturity. The flesh is dark red, juicy, with a wine-sweet dessert taste. The stone is medium-sized and separates well from the flesh.

The variety is of the early maturity group, with fruits ripening in early June. It shows relative resistance to moniliosis and is weakly affected by coccomycosis. It is self-sterile; to obtain a yield, pollinators such as «Ипуть», «Овстуженка», «Россошанская золотая», «Жабуле», «Скороспелка» are required.
