Trees reach a height of 5–6 meters and have a broad-pyramidal crown of medium density. The variety is characterized by high winter hardiness, resistance to spring frosts, and drought tolerance. Resistance to diseases is assessed as medium; in rainy weather, the fruits are prone to cracking and rotting.
Fruits weighing 6–9 g have a round-heart shape, thin skin of dark red, almost black-red color, and semi-cartilaginous juicy flesh with pink veins. The large pit separates from the flesh with difficulty. The variety is self-incompatible and requires the presence of pollinators blooming at similar times.
