ActivePrunus avium (L.) L. · Sweet cherry
David W.Cain
10 August 2026
The tree is characterized by vigorous growth and the ability to enter the fruiting stage early. The fruits are medium-sized, brown-red, semi-firm, have a rich taste, and are distributed less densely on the branches compared to a number of other varieties.
The variety has moderate resistance to fruit cracking and is less susceptible to brown rot. It is intended primarily for the fresh market, but is also considered potentially suitable for processing.
