The fruits are small, have a flattened shape with depressions at the poles. The skin is shiny, reddish-brown in color, and covered with a waxy bloom.
The tree is characterized by weak growth and good productivity. The plants possess high resistance to cold and winds, tolerate a number of parasitic diseases well, but are sensitive to Monilia and aphids. Flowering begins in the second ten-day period of April.
These varieties are part of the traditional agrobiodiversity of the Molise region and are used primarily in household and gardening.
