The Amarelle group includes cherries whose fruits have light red skin, yellowish or transparent flesh, and colorless juice. Morphologically, representatives of this group are also characterized by lighter foliage compared to varieties of the Morello group, which possess dark fruits and colored juice.
Since Amarelle is a botanical variety and not a specific cultivar, it has no uniform indicators for tree height, maturity dates, or disease resistance. Characteristics depend on the varietal affiliation of the specific plant included in this group.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
