The designation 11/6 refers to material selected within the breeding programs of the Research Institute for Fruit Growing in Pitești-Mărăcineni. This specimen was considered part of the clonal selections of the local Romanian variety Crisana.
The material was used in experiments on cultivation techniques, in particular with various crown training systems. With a palmette-type crown training, the yield in the seventh year was about 12.0 t/ha, and in high-density plantings of the vertical cordon type, it reached 22.5 t/ha.
The material was intended for studying the prospects for commercial cherry production, including use in the processing industry. Specialized morphological descriptions and data on disease resistance for this specific number are not recorded separately.
