ActivePrunus cerasus L. · Sour cherry
Ujfehertoi Gyumolcstermesztesi Kutato, H

The variety is a collection of local clones selected through traditional breeding, which causes genetic variability of the form. The fruits of the variety belong to the amarelle group, which are characterized by red color and colorless or weakly colored juice.
The plant belongs to mid-season varieties, ripening at the end of July. It shows resistance to adverse weather conditions, however, in years favorable for infection, individual clones may be affected by Monilinia.
The fruits are suitable for both home use and commercial processing. Due to the heterogeneity of the population, fruit characteristics and disease resistance may vary depending on the specific clone.
