Variety description

10 August 2026

The Avalon tree has vigorous growth and a compact spreading crown, the height of which is determined by the chosen rootstock. The variety is partially self-fertile and requires the presence of pollinators such as Stanley, Valor, President, Opal, Victoria, or Katinka to increase yield. The variety demonstrates regular high yields, although a light fruit load may be observed in the first years after planting.

The fruits are large, weighing 60–80 g, and have a round or oval shape. The skin is colored red-purple; the flesh is golden-yellow, firm, juicy, with high sugar content and a pronounced aroma. The stone is partially freestone. The variety is intended for fresh consumption; when harvested early, it is suitable for culinary use.
