The variety is a representative of the species Prunus domestica subsp. domestica and is identified as a synonym for Early Prolific. The tree has a relatively compact growth type, reaching a height of 3–4 meters, and is distinguished by very early flowering.

The fruits are small in size, almost round in shape, and covered with a dark blue or purple skin with a bloom. The flesh is yellowish-green, juicy, sweet-and-sour in taste, and the stone separates from the flesh. The fruits are consumed fresh and used for culinary processing.

The variety is self-fertile and serves as a good pollinator for other plums. It possesses winter hardiness down to -15°C and does not require special care when grown in open field conditions.
