The tree is vigorous, reaching 4–7 meters in height, with a broad spreading crown and moderate foliage. The variety is early-bearing, entering fruiting 2–4 years after planting.

The fruits are large, weighing 60–75 g (up to 100 g), round-oval in shape. The skin is dark purple, almost black, with a dense waxy bloom. The flesh is yellow or yellow-green, juicy, with a sweet dessert taste. Transportability is high; fruits can be stored for up to 2–3 months.

The variety possesses high winter hardiness and good immunity to scab and fungal diseases, but is susceptible to black knot. The ripening period is late; harvest occurs during the second ten-day period of September.

The variety is partially self-fertile. To ensure stable yield, pollinators such as «Стенлей», «Президент» or «Анна Шпет» are recommended. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption, drying, freezing, and culinary processing.
