Fruits are medium-sized, approximately 40–47.5 mm, and round in shape. The skin is thin, with a light bloom, yellowish-white or yellow-green in color, turning waxy yellow upon full maturity, sometimes with red specks. The flesh is yellow, soft, sweet, and aromatic. Due to their tenderness, the fruits require prompt consumption.

The tree height is usually 3–4 meters, but varies from 3 to 6 meters depending on the rootstock and crown formation. The variety has good winter hardiness, but is prone to alternate bearing. May be affected by spider mites.

Data on the self-fertility of the variety is contradictory. Anna Späth, Czar, Hauszwetsche, Monsieur Hâtif, and Reine Claude Verte are indicated as possible pollinators.
