The rootstock was selected from local Spanish Prunus insititia L. material. The variety has the ability to reduce scionvigor by 30–40% compared to the GF 677 rootstock. It ensures good productivity of grafted trees, contributes to accelerated fruit ripening, and improves fruit quality.
The plant demonstrates high tolerance to chlorosis, making it a preferred choice for planting in heavy and calcareous soils. The rootstock is also resistant to soil waterlogging and salinity.
