The fruits are of medium size, oval in shape, and covered with a waxy bloom. The flesh is yellow or yellow-green, juicy, sweet, and tangy; the stone separates well. The variety is suitable for fresh consumption, culinary use, baking, and the production of prunes.
The tree is vigorous and strong. It enters the bearing stage relatively late, but subsequently, the variety shows high yield stability without pronounced periodicity. The plant is resistant to cold and suitable for cultivation in foothill regions at altitudes up to 1000 meters above sea level.
The variety ripens in the period from late July to August, and depending on climatic conditions, until early September. It has many synonyms, including Bühler Frühzwetschge and Frühe aus dem Bühler Tal.
