The fruits of this variety reach a length of 3.8–4.6 cm and range in color from red to dark blue with a characteristic glaucous bloom. The stone length is 2.1–2.4 cm. The plant is characterized by dark green leaves and white flowers with a diameter of about 2.6 cm; young branches are pubescent and have a gray-brown hue with a silvery marbled pattern at the base.
The variety belongs to the quetsche group and is used both for fresh consumption and culinary processing, including the preparation of jams, baked goods, and alcoholic beverages. Despite the reference to an early ripening period in one of the synonyms, data regarding the maturity group are often considered contradictory.
