Variety description

The variety was obtained in 1965 by exposing seeds of the "Liivi kollane munaploom" variety to X-ray radiation. The change in the chromosome number to 2n=51 affected the features of the shape and structure of the stone.

Fruits are large, oblong-oval in shape, greenish-yellow in color with a light waxy bloom. The flesh is yellow, fibrous, soft, sweet-and-sour, with a firm skin and a stone that does not separate well. The ripening period of the fruits falls at the beginning of September.

The tree is characterized by a medium size and an upright arrangement of branches. The variety is self-incompatible; for cross-pollination, the varieties "Edinburgh", "Tartu punane", and "Hiiu sinine" are recommended. The yield of the variety is estimated as medium.
