ActivePrunus domestica L. · European plum

10 August 2026
The variety has historical origins in Italy and is currently at risk of extinction, and for this reason, it has been included in genetic resource conservation programs. The name of the variety is associated with the bright green color of the fruits, which persists even at full maturity, or with a local toponym.
The fruits are small, round, and covered with an abundant waxy bloom. The flesh has a greenish hue, and the stone is semi-freestone. The variety is distinguished by a sweet taste and a strong aroma and is intended for fresh consumption. Due to the small size of the fruits, the variety is not profitable for industrial processing.
