ActivePrunus domestica L. · European plum

The rootstock was derived from the plum species Prunus insititia. Trees grafted onto it reach 75% of the size of trees on seedling rootstocks, which corresponds to a height of about 3.5–5.5 meters at maturity. The variety is characterized by high compatibility with European and Japanese plum varieties and mirabelles.
The plant possesses resistance to cold climates and spring temperature fluctuations, as well as moderate resistance to Phytophthora, bacterial canker, and crown gall. It is not recommended to use this rootstock on heavy, waterlogged soils. Its use promotes early entry into fruiting of grafted varieties.
