Variety description

10 August 2026

The tree of this variety is distinguished by white flowers during the blooming period. The fruits are characterized by large, rounded pits encased in a hard shell. The variety belongs to the sweet almond group, whose kernels are suitable for direct consumption, use in baking, as well as for the production of marzipan and almond oil.

The plant is self-incompatible and requires pollinators for fruit set. The crop is heat-loving, prefers calcareous soils, and is drought-tolerant, although it does not tolerate waterlogging. The trees are sensitive to late spring frosts during the blooming period and are susceptible to fungal diseases. Grafting must be used to preserve varietal characteristics.
