The Gialla di San Polo variety, also known as Gialla di San Paolo, is a traditional Italian variety of Prunus persica, characteristic of the Greve in Chianti area. It represents a historical local population formed through folk selection.
Currently, the variety is considered exclusively as part of the genetic heritage preserved to prevent the erosion of biodiversity. Industrial characteristics, such as precise ripening times, tree parameters, or disease resistance, are not recorded in specialized sources.
