The variety originated in the mid-20th century in the Tuscany region as a chance seedling. The tree is of medium vigor, characterized by abundant flowering and regular productivity. Well-adapted to cultivation in hilly terrain at altitudes from 100 to 700 meters above sea level in well-ventilated areas.
The fruits are large in size and slightly flattened in shape. The skin is light, with a white-green hue with an intense red blush or streaks. The flesh is cream-white with red veins, sweet and fragrant. Harvesting takes place in the second half of September.
The variety shows resistance to powdery mildew. It is used primarily for fresh consumption due to its high taste qualities and late ripening period.
