The variety is a traditional local peach that is maintained under biodiversity conservation programs. Historically, it has been used for local consumption in home and farm orchards, distinguished by an extended ripening period.
The medium-sized fruits have yellow skin and yellow flesh. The ripening period occurs from October to December. The tree is productive, resistant to powdery mildew, but shows susceptibility to scab.
