The rootstock was obtained as a result of a breeding program using Prunus domestica genotypes possessing hypersensitivity to the Plum pox virus and Prunus spinosa. It is intended for vegetative propagation, including green and hardwood cuttings, as well as by the in vitro method.
The primary purpose of the rootstock is for use as a base for grafting plum varieties. It is characterized by low vigor, while its influence on the fruit size of grafted varieties may vary depending on their biological characteristics.
