Ferdor is a clonal rootstock developed for grafting plum and apricot varieties. Botanically, it is a hybrid of Prunus insititia and Prunus domestica.

In commercial fruit growing, this rootstock is used to manage scion vigor and ensure uniformity of nursery trees. It possesses resistance to specific soil conditions, although growth performance depends on specific soil and climatic factors.
