The rootstock is dwarfing or semi-dwarfing, which allows for restraining tree growth and facilitating canopy management while maintaining high productivity. It is characterized by a low tendency to produce root suckers and exhibits good compatibility with major plum and cherry plum varieties.
The plant is well adapted to dry and calcareous soils, however, it may show sensitivity to chlorosis in cases of excessive calcium content. Several studies have noted low susceptibility of the rootstock to fungal diseases.
