The rootstock is distinguished by high growth vigor and good compatibility with scions, which contributes to increased yields and fruit quality. The plant is characterized by high resistance to calcareous soils, preventing the development of iron chlorosis, and tolerates drought conditions well.
This rootstock tolerates heavy, waterlogged soils with standing water and poor aeration poorly. During cultivation, it shows sensitivity to nematodes and certain soil pathogens. It is a standard solution for commercial orchards, especially in regions with a Mediterranean climate.
